My friend is the drummer in a new band called the “Radio Broadcast” and he wanted some photos of the band in action. I was lucky enough to be there and take photos of two more awesome bands, “Hotel le Motel” from Ogden, UT and “THE HEROINE” from San Antonio, TX playing at Burt’s Tiki Lounge/Club in Salt Lake City.

Here’s an image I took for a class. The assignment was to take a photo that evokes some emotion. I selected fear or at the or at the very least be foreboding and eerie. A little late for Halloween or perhaps quite a bit early.
I recently decided to take the plunge and get my college degree in Photography from UVU. I know, its about time. I had settled on a Business degree but I chose to stick to my strengths and power through.
In my current class, I’m getting an overview of Adobe Lightroom and a refresher course in photography fundamentals. This is my second photography class ever and the last class was nearly a decade ago – probably long overdue.

My neighbors had their baby recently so I went over and took some photos. Here are some of my favorites.
It would seem that Jamaica has one species of spider and they are everywhere, it might be a Garden Spider. Aside from spiders there were plenty of butterflies and dragonflies. The crabs are really colorful; I was surprised at the range of colors and yet they blend easily into the rocks. I found several species of lizards, but I primarily photographed Anoles. Other lizards were plentiful had a varying color schemes.
